According to the Pew Research Center, I am one of 75.4 millennials living on our planet, Earth. Like many of my fellow millennials, I am trying to navigate the mess that is my life, one disaster at a time. I am a bow tie aficionado, travel enthusiast, and dim sum connoisseur.
I was born on the beautiful island of Formosa, better known as, but not recognized as, Taiwan (if you got this, I appreciate you). I come from a city called Kaohsiung. I have spent most of my life growing up in Sugar Land, Texas before attending The University of Texas at Austin, hook 'em! Now, I am back in Houston working for a company called Aon, managing its global talent development operations.
I am a self-proclaimed foodie and epicure. I cannot emphasize how much I love fine foods and delectable drinks. My love of food has allowed me to spend the last quarter century perfecting my huggable body. Some collect coins and postage stamps; I collect tasty calories. Should anyone ask, my favorite beverage is a French 75 with a splash of Aperol.
Weird is one word that can be used to describe me, but I definitely prefer the term unique. And luckily for me, the word alliterates well with my name--unique Eugene. I definitely have my many quirks (including my love of alliteration) and my friends have affectionately deemed these quirks as "Eugeneisms."
I enjoy having a good time and making memories, whether it is hanging out with friends or spending quality time with family. I am truly blessed and loved by those in my life. My hobbies include baking, napping, shopping, among many other activities.
One of my goals in life is to make the world a better and more loving place. Doing well in life is good, but doing good in life is better! How's that for word play?! Though I am not quite sure how I will achieve my goal, I am figuring it out with the help of my friends and family.
Thank you for stopping by and hopefully you have learned a little about me. I wish you all the best!
